I listen to a fair amount of Electronic Dance Music, mainly trance and
progressive, though I do have a break from time to time and take in virtually
every other genre there is. Even that stuff that’s not really any genre, though I guess you could
say the same about some styles of EDM...

As far as the djing goes, I decided to get into using Ableton Live to start actually mixing some sets myself, thinking "This song would be great after this song" and so on, to the point where i thought i may as well make myself a website (and to also keep up to speed on that sort of thing, doing some part time work as a web developer and all).

So here it is, www.djruku.com where i’ll be maintaining a site about my trance sets, and a list of vinyl that keeps me happy. The plans of buying some decks are complete, with a nice shiny pair of Technics 1210 M5G’s sitting next to me proudly.

I guess you’ll be able to see my progress all documented on here too, make sure you download my mixes!

Other Trancin mixes made before the birth of this site are available at mixes.djfez.com/ruku also, and if you’re into it like me and mixing your own stuff, you can upload there too!
