Yes that's right, in all the time I've been busy not updating the site, I've managed to quickly find some time to do some work with it, and I've decided it needs a bit of an update visual-wise.
So instead of comments and more dynamic features, first expect a new site scheme!! I know it's not what i said i would do... but it's something, and i really like the new design a whole lot more than the current one, so I'll do what I want :)
My newest mix is being broadcast on TranceTraffic Radio tomorrow so all is good, if you're a member and somehow read this before it airs, make sure you listen in for some killer classics sets!
I've taken the liberty of trying to make some things easier for myself, by adding some bbcode-type-tags for image posting in the news sections, as well as some nice popup boxes for images you click on.
See, click on the image from the news post, and you'll see what i mean, cool hey? :P so innovative...
In mix news there's a few more up on that magical Mixes page, including a nice slower mix which came about after a friend asked for something more laid back and chilled. I agreed, and as such, Chillaxin was born (plus i really like the cover... came out well), so get downloading on that one if you want something a little slower.
New stuff you should see pop up some time soon on the site includes the way each mix was made, ie Ableton or Vinyl, once i actually get to the point of recording some decent mixes i've physically made myself. The comments is still on the agenda, and should be up within the next few weeks too if all goes to plan, but who cares about that, Deadmau5 is playing here tonight so i've got better things to do, like listen to some Prog!
So the set has actually been achieved, thanks to the nice return I received from my tax, so now the set is complete, together with a Numark DM2050 mixer.
Also the record count is growing, though not as fast as some, as friends have joined the cause and bought some decks too :D so much happenings.
Expect a few more tracks to appear on that 'Music' page in the near future as i really start getting into listening to a lot of stuff over my break from study, as well as getting onto actually implementing those features i was talking about in the last news post...
Hello to anyone out there reading this! As this new site is all hard coded from scratch, I've found that there are a few small features I wouldn't mind including, such as the ability to comment on each mix (and maybe news post) so look forward to this in the future so i can receive feedback from you out there!!
Also on the way is a new mix which i'll get started on as soon as possible, which may possibly be titled "Nusite Numix" but keep an eye on the Mixes page for that one.
Over and out, enjoy the new site!
